The Journey to Mastery

The Practitioner Diploma in Transpersonal Coaching

Seven months of soul-led transformation.

Our flagship professional training programme at The Centre for Transpersonal Studies offers a profound immersion into the mechanics of the human psyche, underpinned by the highest standards of professional coaching. You will learn a coaching model which creates a bridge between spirit and soul, grounding both into the client's lived reality. It will qualify you to start a private coaching practice: the only other thing you need is your professional indemnity insurance.

The ICF Pathway

Committed to the Gold Standard of Coaching

We've built the CTS curriculum to align with the latest global ICF standards, ensuring you're learning exactly what's required to coach at a professional level. We are currently moving through the formal application process for our ICF Level 1 Accreditation.

Upon successful achievement of this status, we will retroactively issue Certificates of Completion to our Founding Cohort, recognising their training as ICF-accredited coaching education. This would give you an accelerated path to your Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, allowing you to skip the extra paperwork of the “Portfolio Path” entirely.

Whether you choose to apply for that credential is up to you – it's a valuable professional metric, but it isn't a requirement to practice as a professional coach. Our priority is making sure you have the skill, the ethics, and the depth to do the work.

This programme provides the training and group mentor coaching hours that form the foundation for ICF ACC credentialing.

Who Is It For?

This is for you, whoever you are now. The hairdresser, the accountant, the teacher, the parent returning to work, the therapist ready to add coaching to their practice. Whatever your background, this belongs to you if any of the following is true:

  • You want to help others. This is for you whether you’re ready to build a coaching practice, or you simply want the skill to support the people already in your life and work.

  • You want to help yourself. This is for you if the person you most want, or need, to help is yourself: your own growth, your own patterns, your own becoming.

  • You want both. For most people, this journey does both at once: your own growth, and the skill to help others through theirs.

No two people arrive here the same way. Here are a few of the more familiar paths:

For those looking to create a second income stream or move into an entirely new career, whatever your starting point. Accountants, tradespeople, retail and hospitality managers, and career-changers from every industry have built successful coaching practices from here. If you are ready to:

  • Build a Purposeful Practice: Turn your ability to connect with and support others into a professional coaching offering that is both meaningful and sustainable, with no prior helping-profession background required.

  • Bridge the Gap: Learn how to take your own career and life experience and package it into a professional service that others value.

  • Gain ICF-Aligned Foundations: Start your journey toward ICF certification with a unique edge that sets you apart in the coaching market.

For leaders, managers, and HR professionals ready to move from applying these ideas informally at work into a credentialed coaching capacity. This course provides the tools to:

  • Lead with “Presence”: Move beyond tactical management into a more conscious, presence-based leadership style.

  • Navigate Systemic Complexity: Understand the hidden dynamics and “unseen” human factors that influence team culture and organisational health.

  • Foster Wellbeing: Bring a deeper, soul-aligned approach to culture and people development, backed by a formal coaching qualification.

For those already in the caring professions – counsellors, nurses and teachers, nutritionists, and holistic health helping professionals – ready to add a full coaching qualification alongside their existing expertise. This is for you if you want to:

  • Go Beyond the Symptoms: Move from “fixing” to facilitating deep, lasting transformation in your clients, backed by a formal coaching qualification.

  • Holistic Integration: Bring a transpersonal dimension to your existing expertise, supporting the “whole person” (body, mind, and spirit).

  • Prevent Burnout: Develop a somatic self-regulation practice that allows you to stay present and grounded, even in high-pressure clinical environments.

You do not need to have the intention to coach others to find your place here. This course will give you the opportunity to develop the full coaching toolkit, with yourself as your primary client, across the complete seven-month journey. Through coaching-based self-enquiry, you’ll:

  • Map your inner landscape. Exploring the heights of inspiration and the depths of soul-meaning, and developing awareness of the patterns, beliefs, and hidden drivers that shape who you are.

  • Develop a “Becoming” practice. Integrating profound transpersonal insights into a lived, authentic identity, and moving from insight to embodied change.

  • Master somatic self-regulation and presence. Finding stability and grace within everyday life and relationships, and learning to coach yourself through challenge with skill, presence, and compassion.

For coaches already in practice, trained through another route, who want more than technique. Because the transpersonal model is woven through all seven modules rather than taught separately, you’ll revisit core coaching competencies alongside new coaches, but through a transpersonal lens you won’t have encountered before. This is for you if you:

  • Want to go deeper than traditional models allow. Move beyond competency checklists into a coaching approach grounded in soul-level work, not just behavioural change.

  • Want a credential that reflects that depth. Work toward an ICF-aligned qualification from within a transpersonal practice, rather than starting your coach training over from scratch.

  • Are comfortable revisiting familiar ground. Contracting, active listening, and other core competencies will come up again, reframed through this model, not skipped.

Who Is It Not For?

This programme is not suited for those looking for “quick-fix” performance coaching or those not yet ready for deep personal inquiry. Our work requires a willingness to look within.
